Today we gathered as a school community, on the 11th day, of the 11th month, at 11am. ❤️ Our school leaders prepared and delivered a solemn prayer service in honour of all those who have lost their lives through war. It was a time for us to pray for peace throughout the world. ❤️ Lest we forget.

With a sprinkle of Mathematics, Geography, English and creativity, our clever Kinders brought the story ‘Alexander’s Outing’ to life! 🦆They created maps 🗺️ of Alexander’s adventures through the city and represented his journey using construction materials 🧱 Using positional language they described the path Alexander took and used informal units to investigate the length between places he visited. Learning sure in fun in Kindergarten! 😁

Year 1 explored the science behind floating today by making boats out of foil! 🛶✨ They tested how shape and size affect buoyancy – some stayed afloat, others sank, but all sparked curiosity!
